Alexander is the second son of William
and Mary Spencer. Alexander came to live at the home of Edward Manners as a
very young lad. Alexander's father William being of poor health at the
time and his mother Mary looking for help with raising her young son,
sought out Lord Rutland to raise as his ward. As the
years have gone by Alexander's father has gotten stronger.
Alexander still visits his family but has stayed on as a Man at Arms for his lordship.
